Back-to-School Days at EFAM: A Year of New Beginnings and Celebrations
À l’occasion de la rentrée 2025–2026, l’École Franco-Américaine de Miami (EFAM) retrouve le chemin des classes avec enthousiasme et impatience. Cette rentrée marque non seulement le début de nouvelles aventures pédagogiques, mais aussi la célébration d’un événement majeur : les 30 ans de l’école.
Depuis 1995, l’EFAM est une référence parmi les écoles bilingues à Miami, offrant un parcours unique où les élèves s’épanouissent dans un environnement éducatif français et américain.
Une première rentrée pour nos plus jeunes élèves
Pour de nombreux enfants de Petite Section et de Moyenne Section, cette rentrée est leur toute première expérience dans une maternelle franco-américaine à Miami. Ce moment symbolique est important autant pour les enfants que pour leurs parents. Nos enseignants bienveillants mettent tout en œuvre pour créer un climat sécurisant et accueillant, afin que chaque enfant découvre avec plaisir la richesse d’un apprentissage bilingue dès la classe de Moyenne Section.
L’EFAM fête ses 30 ans
En 2025, l’EFAM a la fierté de célébrer ses 30 ans. Depuis trois décennies, notre école s’engage à offrir une éducation franco-américaine de qualité, nourrie par les cultures française et américaine. Tout au long de l’année, des événements et célébrations viendront rythmer la vie de notre établissement et mettre à l’honneur l’histoire et la diversité culturelle de l’EFAM.
La musique avec Rachel
Nous avons le plaisir de retrouver Rachel, qui continue d’apporter la joie de la musique dans nos classes. Grâce à son approche vivante et créative, les élèves développent leur sens du rythme, leur imagination et leur amour de la musique—un élément essentiel de l’éducation globale et bilingue proposée à l’EFAM.
Bienvenue au Coach Alex
Grande nouveauté cette année : l’arrivée de notre nouveau professeur d’éducation physique et sportive, Alex, originaire d’Afrique du Sud. Fort de son expérience dans le sport et l’encadrement de la jeunesse, Alex encouragera nos élèves à rester actifs, à renforcer leur esprit d’équipe et à prendre plaisir à bouger à travers une grande variété d’activités.
Rencontre avec nos School Counselors – 27 août 2025
À l’EFAM, nous sommes convaincus que le bien-être social et émotionnel est au cœur de la réussite scolaire. Le mercredi 27 août 2025, une présentation spéciale sera organisée en visioconférence avec nos school counselors. Ce rendez-vous permettra aux familles de mieux connaître le soutien mis en place pour les élèves et de découvrir comment les conseillers collaborent avec les enseignants et les parents pour favoriser l’épanouissement de chaque enfant.

A Special First Day for Our Young Learners
For many of our students in Petite Section (PreK-3) and Moyenne Section (PreK-4), this back-to-school season is their very first experience in school. The first day of school is a meaningful step for both children and parents. Our caring teachers are committed to creating a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, confident, and ready to explore the joy of bilingual education from PreK-4 class.

Since 1995, our school has been dedicated to providing a French-American education of the highest quality, rooted in both French and American cultures. Throughout the year, families and staff can look forward to special events and gatherings highlighting our history and celebrating our vibrant, multicultural identity.

We are delighted to welcome back Ms. Rachel, who continues to bring the joy of music into our classrooms. Through her engaging and creative approach, students develop rhythm, creativity, and a lifelong love for music—an essential part of EFAM’s holistic approach to bilingual education.

Another exciting highlight this year is the arrival of our new Physical Education coach, Alex, of South African origin. With extensive experience in sports and youth coaching, Alex will encourage our students to stay active, strengthen their teamwork skills, and enjoy the benefits of movement through a variety of athletic activities. His energy and international background further enrich our global school environment in Miami.
