BOOKS & AUTHORS

During the World Book Month, EFAM was thrilled to welcome authors and literacy enthusiasts for really interesting presentations.

The students had the chance to meet with renowned Chilean author and screenwriter José Ignacio Valenzuela, and asked a lot of questions about the work life of a published author. Valenzuela has been involved in the creation of diverse television, literary, cinematic, and theatrical endeavors across Chile, Mexico, the United States, and Puerto Rico. Additionally, he has authored numerous novels and short stories, and has experience as both a professor and instructor in the field of creative writing. It was amazing having him at school.

We had the great pleasure to meet with Grégory Nicolas, a French writer, transitioned from being a former cyclist to writing. He has authored several works including the award-winning saga "Papi est un super menteur" (2022-2023).

We also want to thank the representatives from the Canadian Consulate for their visit and time spent with our students, reading stories and sharing their love for books.
