The Swordfish Legend

A long time ago, just few years after the Creation, there was a brave named Nashi-Washi-Tashi, which means Son of the Sun. He was a courageous young man.
During the harvest celebration, he ran into an old lady accidentally. She put a curse on him for knocking off her fruit basket from her head.
The next day, he went swimming and just as he got in the water, his body started metamorphosing. When his body had stopped transforming, he had turned into a swordfish. He started swimming and found out he could swim up to one hundred mile per hour!
The following day, two evil giant twins raided the village. So the young brave jumped into the water. The giant twins, seeing him as dinner, waded in. Using his wits, Nashi-Washi-Tashi jumped right in between them, and as he dodged their spears, they killed each other.
The people made the brave Chief of the village, and ever since, the swordfish has been honored by that tribe. Will (4th Grade)

My most memorable moment of our field trip to Kennedy Space Center was seeing the movie: The Dream is Alive. Monica was on my left, and Louis was on my right. It was 12:30 pm. The movie was in the Imax Theater at John F. Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. I remember it because it was in honor of the space shuttle Apollo’s crew that died. The movie shoved how the astronauts trained before going to space. It was amazing! The movie also showed the space station. It was funny when the astronauts were sleeping in the space shuttle, because they slept with their arms as if they wanted to touch the stars. After the movie, Sabrina was mad because she wanted to see the 3D movie. Poor Sabrina! Adriana (5th Grade)

The first thing I remember about our field trip to Cape Canaveral is photographing Serge and telling him that he looked like Harry Potter (in the Future). Then, I explained his life story, meaning that I made a short summary of this live. There were many details missing from the story. I also remember pretending to take pictures of Matthieu, Germain, Antoine, and the other boys. The flash almost blinded them! Another part was when a bird swooped down and ate Arthur’s lunch at lunchtime. Ayo (5th Grade)
