Admissions procedures

   - Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Knowledge of the French language is not required to enter PreK/K "Maternelle" (though strongly recommended for kindergarten).

To apply in :
"Petite Section" (Pre-K1) the child must be 3 years old by December 31st
"Moyenne Section" (Pre-K2)the child must be 4 years old by December 31st
"Grande Section" (Kindergarten) the child must be 5 years old by December 31st

FLORIDA PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUIRE THAT ALL STUDENTS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN BE
-5 YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1ST OF THE ENROLLMENT YEAR
(FOR KINDERGARTEN)
- 6 YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1ST FO THE ENROLLMENT YEAR (FOR 1ST GRADE)
 

- Elementary (1st through 5th grade)
For admission at the elementary levels, students are required to be fluent in French
.  Students coming from non-accredited schools will be asked to complete an entrance evaluation test in order to assess their qualifications. Students transferring from an accredited school are required to provide a certificate of discharge and their most recent report card.

Classes are served on a first come/first served basis. As a result of numerous applications received every year and limited number of spots available at each grade, applications are then put on a waiting list.

Admission can only be granted if the file is complete. The first-time registration fee is non refundable and non-transferable.

Tuition fees: French students may be eligible for financial aid from the French Government.

The School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, or national origin

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ADMISSION (2008/2009)

Before a student is accepted at the school, the following documents must be on file in the school office:

1- Application form (pdf)
2. Exeat certificate coming from the previous school with the decision of the "conseil des maîtres" and "principal"
3. Evaluation booklet from the current school year
4- Florida Immunization Record (Form DH 3040 and DH 680)
5- 2007/2008 Financial contract  duly signed (pdf)
    Part A : Schedule of payments
    Part B : School fees
6- Acknowledgement of receipt of rules and regulations (pdf)
7. emergency card (1)
8 - Copies of the birth certificate or the passport


All the information contained in these documents shall be held in strict confidence and used only as necessary to serve the well-being of each child.

All applications must include the school rules and regulations contract duly signed. All incomplete applications will be returned and registration cancelled.

All incomplete files will not be processed and will be returned.
